Literally filmed from the right seat of a Cessna 185 Skywagon, by Videographer Kevin Griffin, Idaho Exposed takes place in the backcountry of the great U.S. state of Idaho. Herb Millhorn, 50+ year Idaho resident and veteran bush pilot takes us on a tour of some of the most beautiful country in the world, located in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, and the secret gems that it beholds.

Witness amazing flying skills as Herb lands his Cessna 185 Skywagon on risky airstrips. Canyons and mountain tops are the settings for this spectacular demonstration of phenomenal pilot skills. Don’t miss Idaho Exposed as we get to witness culture and recreational opportunities that only exist in this remote area of Central Idaho – including World Class fishing & hunting, river rafting and horseback riding.

Take off from Herb’s private airstrip in his backyard and fly along with Idaho Exposed as we visit the following airstrips on the Main & Middle Forks of the Salmon River; Big Creek, Dixie Town, Soldier Bar, Flying ‘B’ Ranch, Lower Loon Creek, Sulphur Creek, Johnson Creek, Vines Ranch, Cabin Creek, Wilson Bar, Dewey Moore and the legendary “Mile Hi”.

The above is the text taken from the videographer himself. Below is the text from another pilot, mountain lover, avaiation enthusiast and all-around GA flightsimmer:

"..... After watching the DVD for the third time, I still noticed new things. How close the Cessna came to a tree, that big boulder on the strip that Herb just managed to miss, the detail of the 'courtesy bus' picking visitors up from the Flying 'B' Airstrip..... The list goes on.

I showed the DVD to some friends, none of whom have anything to do with flying or flight simming. They watched it all the way till the end ! Perhaps not so much awed by Herb's flying skills, or the endless possibilities in the US as far as flying is concerned, but just by watching the majestic nature unfold under the wings of Herb's aircraft..... and often high above it !

This is NOT 'just another aviation video'. It is much more!!!
It is a tribute to the freedom of movement in the US, landing on bits of land where you CAN, not being obstructed by a gazillion of 'keep off' signs or billions of miles of barbed wire! It is a tribute to this world's wonderful nature and wilderness areas still in existence.
It also is a tribute to the flying skills of thousands of individuals all over the world to whom flying is a PASSION, a way of life, an art even. People like Herb Millhorn and all those supporting them, are honoured with this film, and should be held in high esteem by anyone having a warm heart for aviation AND nature....
And even if you don't give a hoot for flying, this film STILL is a great documentary of some of Idaho's wonderful nature areas and well worth watching .....".
